Sustainability

Our Commitment
We’re a handmade kiln workshop in Jingdezhen. Our studio pays fair wages and mostly hires skilled craftspeople, which helps support the local economy and social progress. We’re also really thoughtful about our commitment to environmental sustainability.
We use locally sourced clay from Jingdezhen and follow traditional porcelain-making techniques that have been passed down for hundreds of years. On top of that, we try to cut down on packaging and reduce our environmental impact at every stage of production.

Materials & Waste
Minimal Packaging
Reducing waste lies at the core of our values, and this is first reflected in our shipping method. We use recycled newspaper to cushion fragile ceramic ware, replacing plastic bubble wrap and foam padding. All ceramics are placed in sturdy wooden gift boxes to guarantee safety during transit. We only apply paper labels and paper tape, with zero plastic components used throughout
Newspaper and wooden boxes are fully recyclable
Not One Ounce of Clay Wasted
Clay is a precious natural mineral material, and we guarantee zero waste of raw ore. All ceramic scraps, clay trimmings and unformed mud leftover from production are fully recycled. The crushed clay powder is blended back into new clay batches for crafting tableware and ornaments. This is another core practice of our sustainable production, which cuts mining waste and fully unlocks the value of Jingdezhen natural strontium clay.

Built to Last, Rooted in Nature
Nearly all of our strontium porcelain pieces contain no heavy metals or toxic chemical glazes. Crafted from natural Jingdezhen strontium clay, they are inert and harmless to the earth when their service life ends. We mark lead-free, cadmium-free healthy ceramic lines on every product page, letting you shop assured that your tableware choice leaves no toxic residue and protects a gentle, sustainable ecosystem.
